How do our rates compare to on-campus housing rates?
When comparing our rates to on-campus rates you must take into consideration many variables, including floor plan layout, square footage, furniture, utilities and community events. Our leasing staff is available to discuss with you how our rates compare to other housing options and validate that our community offers you the best value for your money, as well as a great location and incredible amenities.
How many people live there?
Every year the total number varies just slightly, but we have room for 460 residents.
How are roommates matched?
Roommates can be matched in a couple different ways -- either you tell us who you want to live with, or if you don't have roommates in mind, we are happy to do the matching for you! We use the information that you and your potential roommates fill out on your roommate matching cards to pair you up. Although we cannot guarantee a perfect match, you can rest assured that we do try to find the best match possible. Roommates are paired on a first come, first serve basis.
What types of leases are available?
We offer 9 and 12-month lease terms.
When can I move in?
We are currently pre-leasing for the Autumn 2024 semester. We may have some limited availability for immediate move-ins. You are welcome to move into your new home in the Autumn, Winter, Spring semesters. Please contact our office for more details!
If I pay in full, do I get a discount?
Nordheim Court does not offer discounts for rent paid in full. However, prepayment gives you the peace of mind knowing that your account is in good standing at all times!
What utilities are included in my rent?
All utilities are included.
How close to campus are you?
Nordheim Court is within 0.8 miles from the University of Washington.
Is parking available?
Yes! Nordheim exclusive garage parking is available for $100 a month.
Do I have a meal plan?
Meal plans are not offered at Nordheim Court.
What size are the beds?
Our beds are Twin XL.
Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?
You are welcome to bring additional furniture with you, but don’t forget that we fully furnish all of our apartments. If you wish to replace some of our furniture and use yours instead, you will be responsible for finding storage for our furniture and putting the items back upon your move out.
What do I need to hook up my computer to the internet?
Just your UW email. WiFI is included and provided by the University of Washington.
Do you allow pets?
Nordheim Court is not a pet friendly community, however, we do accept emotional support animals.
